Under the Management Quota, you can take direct admission to Solamalai College of Engineering (SCE). Here, you can come in without having to go through the process of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) that usually students follow and is strictly for government quota. For direct admission too, once they prove eligible, completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is necessary for the B.E./B.Tech classes. Admission under the management quota is wholly based on performance, depending upon the number of seats available. However, management quota fees are more expensive than the fees of a government quota.

Solamalai College of Engineering, or SCE, does not sponsor 100% scholarship for all. Instead, the college may award scholarships to students deserving of them, which are on merit, economic background, or government schemes. Various scholarship programs could be meant for government programs such as the Tamil Nadu State Government scholarships offered specifically for economically disadvantaged students and merit-based rewards. Except this, the students can also consider other fee remissions or even direct financial aid as offered in the management quota. Through Management Quota one can get admission to B.E. / B.Tech in Solamalai College of Engineering (SCE) without TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Though TNEA is the primary admission process for students to enter through the government quota, the college admits students through the management quota, where the student's selection is purely based on candidate 10+2 marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects, and in some cases, even through an internal assessment of the institution.
