Both are good colleges but being part of ABS, I will tell you one thing that you will get better practical exposure than anywhere else. But for your satisfaction, you can compare ABS with other better colleges.

No, it's not necessary to appear in JEE Mains for getting admission in Bachelors in automobile engineering in Amity.
But JEE Mains is one of the way to get admission in this college according to marks obtained in JEE Mains.

As for your relevance both are having good scope. Chemistry can be a better option for you. Because by chemistry you can go in various fields like medical research in medicines and drugs industry.
