See, I cannot guarantee any private college about placements. Many of my friends are studying in PIET. They are quite happy in CSE or IT. But, still it is more preferable to go for state universities instead of private colleges. These private colleges will assure, we are best nothing can be best. But, it is not so. I hope you have good rank in IPU, prefer IT rather than PIET.
Overall, I know PIET is a good college with nice staff. You can pursue in CSE or IT branch, as these are evergreen branches. But, do not have blind faith in college. Pull out your efforts also by learning new and new things.

Hello,
With the current competition level, advanced digitisation and increased use of RTI services, I don't think it is too easy for any company to hire candidates just based on acquaintances. Even if selected, the chances of the student being terminated are higher during or after the probation period if the candidate possesses the skill set a company requires. And, if a student already has the skill set a company is looking for, the chances of his/her recruitment is much higher without needing any acquaintances.
