H.M.S Institute of Technology has a pool of 120 qualified faculty members of which 75% have Doctoral degrees from reputed institutions and faculty members of * = 10 years. The faculty-student ratio is 1:15. 24 faculty members are having industry experience and 16 faculty members are having research experience, rest of all faculty members have completed 15 years of experience and 10 years of experience respectively some faculty members have published research papers in national /international journals, 15 faculty members have their own startups and 15 faculty members are having teaching experience of 5 years.

The institute has recruited 120 faculty members on an average experience of 10 years of working experience. Moreover, 20 of the faculty have industry experience, 30 have research experience. The distribution according to the academic ranks shows 20 professors, 40 associate professors, and 60 assistant professors. It also get guest speakers from the industries to come and give the students more exposure in their lessons.

The KCET registration period is from January 10, 2025, to April 1, 2025, based on the Karnataka department of pre-University education. It will be from April 3, 2025, for admit cards. The date for the KCET examination is April 18-19, 2025 while the results are expected to be released before June 1, 2025. To attain admission 45% of the seats are available through K CET, while 30% of seats are open to COMEDK/JEE Main and 25% of seats are management quota. The eligibility for the course is 10+2- A aggregate of 45% with PCM/PCB.

The fees in B.E. / B.Tech from HMS Institute of Technology are between INR 2.01 Lacs and INR 6.36 Lacs for four years. This includes a right of admission one time INR 50,000, real tuition fees INR 58,800 to INR 1,18,800 and other charges (development, examination, etc.) INR 10,000 to INR 20,000. The hostel charges separately range from 80,001 to 1,20,001 per annum for B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses only. The applications to Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology (SSIT), Khammam, are open for pursuing B.E. / B.Tech courses. For that, candidates must also have a EAMCET rank. After the examination, candidates can choose SSIT as one of the colleges by attending the counselling of EAMCET. The eligibility criteria are included in the EAMCET score. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least a certain number of marks depending on the course.
