USF is the first public university in Florida to be invited to join the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU). It is also one of the youngest institutions to be welcomed into the AAU, which reflects the university's reputation. Parameters used to calculate these rankings are quality of education, quality of faculty, research output, and per capita performance. USF is ranked at #301-400 in Shanghai rankings. In the previous year, this university was placed in the same position. This ranking for Shanghai rankings show that there has been a drop in the Shanghai rankings.

According to U.S. News & World Report, USF ranking in the National Universities category is #91 in 2025. In 2024, this university ranked at #89. For the Global Universities ranking, this university ranks at #332 in 2024-25. In all, considering the National Universities ranking, it can be said that the USF ranks among the Top 100 U.S. Universities. On the other hand, in the Global Universities ranking, it can be said that the university ranks among the Top 500 Universities in the world.

USF QS rankings for Master's in Business Analytics course is 101+. But, in 2024, the university ranked at a better position with the #81-90 rank and in the previous year, it was placed at the #71-80 position. Although there has been a decline in the university's ranking for Master's in Business Analytics course, USF has still managed to rank among the Top 200 Universities Worldwide in Business Analytics course. A few of the parameters considered to evaluate the rankings for this course are thought leadership, employability, value for money, thought leadership, etc.

According to QS World University, the USF ranking is #654 in 2026. In 2025, this university ranked at #621.

Keeping the current year's QS ranking of this university in mind, it can be said that there has been a decline in the rankings. The university got an overall score of 26.6 on a 100 points scale.

The University of South Florida ranking is #351 in THE rankings 2026. In previous year it ranked at the same position.

This shows that the university rankings have stayed constant from the last two years. However USF has still managed to retain its position among the Top 500 Worldwide. Few of the parameters considered to evaluate THE rankings are industry, teaching, research quality, international outlook, etc.

Johns Hopkins University accepts several English proficiency tests for international applicants.

 The list of these exams includes: TOEFL (100 as a minimum score in the internet-based test); IELTS (minimum of 7.0 band score); PTE Academic (at least 68); and Cambridge English (C1: score of 185 or higher or C2 Proficiency).

Furthermore, students are eligible to apply as long as they have earned a degree at an institution that uses English as the only language of instruction.
