Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology has a placement cell that it has designed solely for the benefit of its students. Of this batch, 172 were employed in 2023 at the highest, an 7 LPA while offering an average deal worth almost 3.5 LPA. Large recruitment centers are TCS and Renault Nissan, Cognizant, and a manufacturing entity called TVS Fasteners. However, just like other colleges with close to 60% employing some percentage of students out there as well, mostly they would get placed through the off campus. Overall, the TPGIT does provide an average placement environment, but still, there is room to improve the skills

Eligibility Criteria for B.E. / B.Tech in Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology
Academic Qualification: The candidate must have 10+2 Higher Secondary Certificate with aggregate percent of at least 45% consisting of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

No, VIT does not accept JEE Main score to grant admission to its BTech programme. As per the VIT Vellore BTech admission process, candidates must appear and qualify for VITEEE exam with a valid score. This is the only entrance exam valid for admission to a full-time BTech course at VIT.

Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITEEE which stands for VIT Engineering Entrance exam every year to offer admission to its undergraduate (BTech) courses. Candidates must attempt the VITEEE exam if they wish to get admission to Vellore Institute of Technology. Both VIT and SRM provide commendable MBA programs with well-equipped facilities, practical learning opportunities and various electives.
