For most BTech courses, the rank-wise cut-off for Kakatiya University has decreased. This means that over the years, it has been more difficult to take admission to the BTech course of Kakatiya University. For example, during the last round of counselling, the TS EAPCET rank cut-off for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering went from 11,012 in 2022, to 8517 in 2023. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank cut-off during the last round of Kakatiya University admission went from 13,885 in 20222 to 11,436 in 2023.

The TS EAPCET cut-off required to take admission in Kakatiya University for BTech varies from year to year. This could be because of various factors like increase in number of BTech programmes offered, change in the number of candidates choosing Kakatiya University as their preferred college during the counselling rounds, difficulty level of the exam, etc. The cut-off for various streams of BTech for 2024 are yet to be released. The admission to the BTech programmes of Kakatiya University is based on the merit list of TS EAPCET and the following counselling thereof. So, the admission process for BTech at Kakatiya University begins with the registration for TS EAPCET. In 2024, the online submission of TS EAPCET applications started in February and continued till May. The exam for engineering courses was conducted during the second week of May. The counselling process is expected to start in the mont of June, after the declaration of the TS EAPCET results.

As the accepted entrance exam for Kakatiya University BTech admissions is TS EAPCET, the last date to apply for the admission is decided by the last date to apply for TS EAPCET. TS EAPCET deadline is declared each year by conducting authority. In 2024, the last date to apply for the exam was May 01, 2024. The exam was conducted in the month of May. The counselling rounds will begin in June.

The course duration of BTech at Kakatiya University is four years, divided in eight semesters. BTech fee for various streams and affiliated colleges ranges between INR 1,30,000 to INR 5,00,000. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative. Students of Kakatiya University are also eligible for various scholarships provided by the state government of Telangana as well as the national government.

There are 800 seats divided among various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at NIT Warangal. These seats are divided among the students of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the rest of the Indian applicants. The cutoff percentile for the SC category was roughly 43 last year. Considering the aforementioned, I do not doubt that you will be admitted to the NIT of your choice. However, why are you only dreaming of NIT when you have such a good score? You should work a little harder and try to get an IIT.
