If a student misses an internal exam they can attend the next internal or they can inform the alloted faculty in advance and inform them for which reason you are not going to attend the internal so, that they will consider you as option and will give you a solution for problem.

There is no failing in internal exam in Kakatiya University. Failing of candidate totally depends on total of internal and external which is 100. If a student fails in semester exam he/she can retake there exam by paying supplymentary fee. As for internal exam mostly they will conduct 2 internals and that will be mostly best of two. But, it does depend on faculty who is teaching you that subject because they can change best of two into average of two internals.

Happy news is there is no failing in internal exams though in Kakatiya University.

Students starting their first year at Kakatiya University there is one advice I want to give you that is if you want to enjoy your B.Tech life with holidays you can join this University as for if you intend to join this college to study then I am sorry. Because, in this college you need to start self-studying from Day-1 itself because, no one is going to come and help in you studies. Faculty just teaches you around 30 -40% remaining must be learnt by you and for coming to doubt section lectures will help you but if only you start self studying.
