Hi, the exam is primarily for admission to private engineering, medical and dental colleges in Karnataka. Students from other states can participate in Karnataka but COMEDK UGET scores are accepted by Karnataka colleges only.

The cut-off for admission to B.E/B.Tech at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology for 2023 was 15,000-40,000, with CSE at 15,000-20,000 and Mechanical at 30,000-40,000 for the general category or 40,000-60,000 for reserved categories. The main branches have a tight competition at 540 seats.

It is unlikely to get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at KLE Dr. M.S.Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology without a valid score in at least one of the accepted entrance exams:

The COMEDK UGET exam is conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). It is conducted for all colleges in Karnataka, not only for CIT - Channabasaveshwara Institute Of Technology. The results for admission in 2025 were declared on 7th June 2025.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts the COMEDK UGET exam. It is conducted for all colleges in Karnataka, not only for the Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 7, 2025.
