South Asian University (SAU) accepts entrance exam scores for admission to MSc programs. The entrance test is conducted for various programs, such as MSc Computer Science and MSc Biotechnology. For the MSc Biotechnology program, the minimum eligibility is 12 years of schooling + a 3-year Bachelor's degree (BSc, B.Pharm, BVSc, B.E., B.Tech, MBBS, etc.) in any area of Biological Sciences/Chemistry/Agriculture and allied sciences; Veterinary and allied sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemical Technology from an institution recognised by the government of any of the SAARC countries, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade.

For admission to MSc in Economics, Sociology, International Relations and Legal Studies, the minimum prescribed eligibility criteria is 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying degree.
