There are 4 major steps in whole admission process for JK MBBS/BDS. Admission process starst with regsistration/application form, followed by document verification, release of merit list and counselling. After registration, docuemnts are verified and based on teh same, a merit list is released. Candidates included in merit list, ahve to declare choices for seat allotment.

Students should be vigilant towards the admission dates in case they are looking forward to the emrollment in the BDS course at KD Dental College and Hospital. It is important to avoid the deadlines and submit the application at the earliest. It is crucial to understand the admission time frame to not miss out on any opportunities.

Here are the MDS eligibility criteria at MGR University (Tamil Nadu): 

• Qualification: BDS from a DCI-approved institution 
• Internship: Completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship by the July 31 of the admission year  
• NEET MDS: Valid qualifying score (50% Gen/OBC, 40% SC/ST)  
• Registration: Permanent/provisional DCI (Dental Council of India) or State Dental Council registration  

Note: First priority will be given to students domiciled in Tamil Nadu. Check trends (cutoff for 2024: ~50-60 percentile for general category).
