PGIDS, Rohtak is ranked in the top 3 dental colleges in India. It is controlled entirely by government. This Institute is running BDS with 100 admissions per year and MDS in 9 specialties.

No, you cannot join PGIDS, Rohtak without NEET for BDS. As the institute is entirely government and there is no direct admission or donation type admission so, you have to clear NEET-UG and clear the required cutoff to apply for counselling process.

The number of BDS students placed over the past three years indicates a fluctuating trend. It increased by 40% from 2019 to 2020 and then dropped slightly from 2020 to 2021. According to the report released, 20 BDS students were placed during PGIDS, Rohtak placements in 2021. It has a 67% placement rate for BDS.

ALL-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Max Healthcare are the two top recruiters at PGIDS, Rohtak.

PGIDS, Rohtak offers courses in Master in Dental Surgery (MDS), with specialisation in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Public Health Dentistry, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology.

PGIDS, Rohtak offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with 1 year of internship also included in this course. The college provides excellent oppurtunities for students to enhance their skills. The course fees of BDS is around 52,000 excluding other charges. Fees for 1st year is around 3 Lacs and for the next three years is around 2 Lacs for the next three years. It is also ranked in top 3 dental colleges in India.

Candidates need to attend NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA. After qualifying for the NEET entrance exam, candidates must apply in the Haryana NEET Counselling, conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) in Haryana. You need to clear the cut-off marks to be eligible for admission.

The application fees for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at PGIDS, Rohtak is 2500 for unreserved candidates and 1250 for reserved candidates and course fees is around 52,000 yearly excluding other charges.

Yes, the whole process of the Maharashtra State Counselling NEET UG 2025 is being held online. Candidates have to register and declare choices on the official website. Apart from MBBS and BDS, the admission to courses such as BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BSMS is also conducted through Maharashtra NEET counselling. While the registration, choice filling, seat allotment and seat resignation processes are done online, the institute reporting or final admission process is conducted in offline mode, wherein candidates have to visit the allotted institutes physically to complete the admission process.
