Yes, B.Sc at DBIT is better because DBIT is renowned for its skilled faculty, carefully thought-out curriculum, and emphasis on hands-on learning, the school's education is frequently regarded as being of higher quality. Conversely, QST is a relatively newer organisation and does not yet enjoy the same degree of recognition as DBIT. Although Quantum offers excellent facilities as well, its infrastructure is not as advanced as DBIT's. At QST, the highest package was Rs 33.5 lakhs.The leading employers at QST are IBM, Oracle, Adobe, CapGemini, Amazon, and CapGemini.

The total approved intake capacity for the BSc programme is 60 students per academic year.

Some more details regarding the BSc batch size and seats at Dev Bhoomi Institute:-

  • Seats are divided between different specializations in Science like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, etc.
  • In total, there are approximately 150 seats available across the different BSc specialisation offerings.
  • Out of this, 60 seats are allotted for the general BSc programme without any specialisation as well.

Here are the latest cutoff details for admission into the BTech programme at Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology:-

  1. For Uttarakhand Domestic Students:-
  • General/Open Category:-   60-70% in Class 12th or equivalent .
  • SC/ST Category: -  55-60% in Class 12th or equivalent.

2. For other state Students:-


- General/Open Category: -   65-75% in Class 12th or equivalent.

- SC/ST Category:-   60-65% in Class 12th or equivalent
- Additionally, students have to fulfill subject eligibility criteria set by the institute to apply for the program. This includes:-

240  is the total seat intake for B.Tech at Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, Dev Bhoomi Group of Insitutions.

There is total of

  • 60 seats in Computer Science And Engineering.
  • 30 seats in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 30 seats in  Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • And 30 seats in Mechanical Engineering.

So, after councelling process you can took enroll yourself in this college. Keep in mind seats are very limited in this college, so took admission on time otherwise you could miss the chance.

Inorder to be accepted by the Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, the candidate must have scored 50 and above. He or she must have a valid score and rank in JEE or UKSEE or state government recognised entrance exams for B.Tech.  For B.Tech lateral entry there is no entrance exam but they should hold a Diploma in engineering or BSc in Mathematics. 

Eligible Candidates need to have a valid score In GATE for M.Tech or PG. The final students to be selected will be based on a written test, GDPI, academic merit, work experience and score in applicable exams.
