Distance MBA is valid for PhD. Just ensure your Distance institute in under the affiliation of UGC board and DDE board. The degrees provided by these education boards are valid as same as a regular MBA degree. To qualify for PhD minimum percentage is needed in MBA to qualify. It is possible to get admission if the distance MBA is from a recognised board.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) are both management courses at Masters level. Both the courses have a commercial orientation and it's difficult to differentiate between the two.
