Hello Anshu, I must say that your desire is absolutely genuine. But if you think from another perspective, admissions in the first year at c o e p are stopped at a very high cut off and if a student from other college who has got admission with less than this cutoffs seeks admission in c o e p then what will happen. All the same, the procedure does exist but it differs from transfer within two colleges of the same University to two different colleges of two different universities. You need to seek the different forms to be filled up from the administrative department of the college where you are studying and also from c o e p. Best wis

Hello Praveen, yes I can understand your angst and anxiety of taking admission and not very sure about the fees to be paid. But I feel that the fees mentioned on the web page of this University has to be correct. If you still have any doubts I would advise you to send them an email or ring their administrative department to find out the details or the correctness of the information on their webpage. Best wishes to you.

Hello Reva, lateral admission to directly second year of four year degree course in engineering in Maharashtra is based on marks obtained in BSc or Diploma examination. I do not think it is based on any entrance exam conducted by Govt of Maharashtra. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information even though it is for COEP.

Hello Vaishnavi Kale, in these days of gender parity, where girls have become fighter pilots in IAF, I feel that any branch of engineering is good for girl students. But again a word of caution. At least atvthe present, the employment opportunities for fresh aeronautical engineering graduates in India is at best very limited. Majority of students end up doing MBA or go abroad for MS. Please consider this situation too before deciding to join this branch. Best wishes to you.

How Palak Sharma, yes, it's the best you can think of. Universities in US offer very good education and after graduation there are enough companies and employment opportunities in US. A word of caution. Admissions in US institutions are not based exclusively on academic performance but depends on nany other factors. Hence I would strongly recommend that you should approach an agency that is dealing with sending students to US for undergraduate studies. Best wishes to you.

Your decision to shift to deemed to be university when you are in the final year of your graduation is of course quite tough to take but your logic is also quite good. Placements do play a vital role in the life of a student. You need to approach your intended university for finding out details of the procedure involved. Just remember, it's possible and do not take no for an answer. Best wishes to you.
