Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 30006 and closing rank was 37579 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 40085 and 49517. Admission to Mechanical Engineering in IIEST Shibpur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIEST Shibpur cutoff 2023 is released on the basis of JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling, which has been concluded after Round 6 of Seat Allotment results. JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIEST Shibpur JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 13711 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 20059 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

  1. Level I Pass Rate: 40% to 45%. 

  2. Level II Pass Rate: 40% to 45% as well.

  3. Level III Pass Rate: 50% to 60%.

Rajasthan PTET is a state-level Pre-teacher eligibility test conducted by the Government Dungar College, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The Rajasthan PTET exam is the gateway to the institution’s offered teaching programs, i.e. BEd (2 years) and Pre BA-BEd/ BSc-BEd (4 years). Candidates who qualify in the Rajasthan PTET examination by scoring equal to or more than the prescribed cut-off marks will be eligible for admission to BEd (2 years) and Pre BA-BEd/ BSc-BEd (4 years).

As prescribed by the exam conducting authority, the Rajasthan Pre-Teachers Eligibility Test (PTET) is an offline test that is conducted in pen and paper mode. The time duration of the test is 3 hours and there will be 200 questions asked in the exam with each question consisting of 3 marks making the total 600 marks. There is no negative marking in the PTET examination and the question paper will be MCQ-based.
