The latest cutoff information for B.tech Civil Engineering at School of Engineering and Technology NIU are following - For general category the cutoff rank was 46,533 to 59,226, whereas for Ews category it was 11208 and for SC ST category students the rank was 19,832 to 22842.
Information about the admission process - Eligible students need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the University. Shortlisted students will be called for Personal Interview based on marks obtained in Entrance test. Candidates are selected based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and performance in personal interview.

Both the colleges have good placement records but Galgotias University have a lot better placements than SET NIU.
NIU has a placement record of 75% students placed. The average package offered at SET NIU in 2023 placements was INR 5.10 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 43 LPA. Some of the top recruiters were Microsoft, IBM, and Infosys.
In comparison, Galgotias University offers a 100% placement assistance, with over 8500 job offers. In Galgotias the average package offered was 5.25LPA and the highest package offered was INR 1.5 Cr. Some of the top recruiters were Microsoft, American Express, Amazon, KPMG,EY, Deloitte and more.

The candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for various courses at SET NIU :
B.Tech -: To be eligible for the program candidates must have at least 50% marks in 10+2 with physics and maths as compulsory subjects.
Mtech -: To be eligible for the Mtech program, candidates must have a b.tech in the relevant specialisation with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Gate qualified students can apply directly for M.tech admission.
PhD -: To be eligible for PhD program candidates must have atleast 50% in M tech in the relevant specialisation or equivalent.

Yes, it's not that hard to get admission in School of Engineering and Technology NIU because there is no entrance exam or cutoff rank for admission, you just need to meet the minimum eligibility requirements that are - A candidate must have completed their 10+2 from any recognised board with physics, maths and chemistry with minimum aggregate of 50% marks . Or candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering.

School of Engineering and Technology, BML Munjal University offers admission to BTech course based on CUET, SAT or JEE Main score. Aspirants who did not appear for any of the accepted exam can apply for BMU Aptitude Test. Candidates fulfiling both eligibility and selection criteria can get admission in the university.
