You will be best one to answer this question. Suggest you to go through the program curriculum of both the specialization, try to understand what each of them means and what the career outcomes would be. MBA Strategic Management will train you towards strategic thinking, strategic implementation, Strategic Management of Human Assets, etc. while MBA in finance will train you for a finance oriented career, you will require excellent skills in numbers and mathematics.
You will be best one to answer this question. Hi Eshani, Glad that you asked this question. Well it's not a marketing strategy or else we wouldn't have been among the top B- Schools in Kolkata. If you go through our website you will understand that not only we assure 100% placement every year but all the companies are also quite great. Talking about finance sector 60% of the companies are either of banking or finance sector from HDFC to ICICI to PWC. There are great opportunities in this sector. There is no need to panic. You can pursue various courses. You can go for M.Com, MBA, or prepare for bank PO examinations, CA, CS too are into options.
Or, you can go for mass communication courses as well. Enormous opportunities are there.
Calm down first. Think over what is your interest area, then look for the courses available, go through the syllabus, then enroll for it.
Good luck.
