Christ University is very good in its financial management course. This is one of the best colleges for MBA and is being termed high in terms of placements and studies. You can choose financial management in Christ or also, you can opt for general MBA it financial management would be a better option.

Most of the B-School's have re-branded MIB as MBA IB. All three MBA specialisations International Business, Finance and Marketing have different focus areas. 60 to 70% courses for all three specialisations are same. Difference is only in electives in chosen business function. Business exposure of all different functions specialisation grads is same. You must choose your specialisation based on your interests to excel in professional career.

You can evaluate courses conducted by NSE to help you in your finance career and understanding on shares and mutual funds. NSE conduct courses which will help you to understand fundamentals of stocks management. You may evaluate NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP) or Online NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (E-NCCMP) Courses.

It is very difficult to compare MBA in finance and marketing as both of them have different aspects. People, who are numerically-oriented can go for MBA finance, while those who have excellent communication skills and have an outgoing personality can pursue MBA in marketing course.

80% of the students had been placed and placements are still going on. The quality of education in IPE is good. For finance, we are having separate specialization too i.e PGDM -BIF.

Hi Aninda,
Job profiles for finance will be in consulting, merchant banker, investment banker and in private equity/venture capital analyst. Average package offered to the students will be Rs 6-7 lakhs and minimum will be Rs 4-4.5 lakhs.
