As per Indian market trend analysis MBA Finance is the second best career choice of both MBA students and recruiter after MBA Marketing. Students pursuing MBA in Finance gain the business and financial skills needed to work in a number of enterprises. As you are a Commerce graduate, it is the right specialisation for you. MBA finance graduates have very good career opportunities in both Government, PSU and private sector in Finance and accounting departments.

Yes, you can take admission in MBA finance also through distance. The criteria is graduation, which you have completed. You just need to apply in colleges which provides distance MBA in finance and they will conduct exams semester wise.

DY Patil is decent but NIT is a great institute. Its placements are pretty average and ROI is low. Summer internship roles are very average.

90% students get placed. Average package is Rs 6-6.5 lakhs. Yes, you can go for finance without any doubt if you have interest in finance.
