MBA is advisable over to PGDM considering the fact that, MBA is degree offered by university and accepted globally, which isn't the case with PGDM unless the college is having AIU certification of equalization with MBA.

Finance is a better option if you belong to commerce background and/or have a keen interest in making a career in the finance/banking sector. Else marketing would be ideal. Finance requires one to be well-versed with the accounting, banking related concepts as well as having great mathematical skills. Marketing needs one to be creative and practical, having a sound understanding of what's trending in the market/industry.
