Forensic Science

Hello dear,
I am going to talk in regards to the Indian system only. To be true it really does not matter at this moment. Forensic Science does have a lot of scopes, but a B.Sc. In Forensics is a vastly generalized degree. So don't expect to get a job easily just after doing your B.Sc. On the other hand B.Sc. In Agriculture is a specialised degree. And the best part has a Forensic aspect as well. So, if you really want to study Forensics, then I would suggest that first study Agriculture or Botany and then study the Forensic aspect of it in your Masters. If you are still doubtful how can Agriculture and Botany have Forensic Aspect then, just google Derek Severson and research about it.

Forensic Science is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system which may be in relation to a crime or a civil action. The increasing use of logic and procedures in criminal investigations has led the science of forensics popular in individual legal proceedings. New subjects like forensic toxicology, computer forensics, forensic services and technologies have made this science unique in locating criminals with scientific evidences enabling the criminal justice system to make suitable judgements in time.
Total Fee : Rs. 24,125
Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,125 in the name of The Global Open University, Nagaland payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. - ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur - 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 150 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).
Master's Thesis : All students are required to submit a Master's Thesis at the end of second year.
