In India, forensics is an emerging field but outside India, it's well established and forensic professionals earn good money if opted for as a career. Minimum Eligibility to Apply for M.Sc in Forensic Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is that candidate should have a pass mark of 50% in graduation with the mandatory course as B.Sc.
Candidate must have studied at least 2 years (4 semesters) of 3 years degree course in any 2 subjects from the following:
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Biology (Zoology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Physical Anthropology)

Eligibility for B.Sc. In Forensic Sciences:
The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%. However, a few private universities in India conduct their own entrance tests for evaluating and admitting students to the course. Regards.
