RPF Constable cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks as well as the cut off marks in the exam.

RPF Constable selection process comprises Computer-Based Testing (CBT), PET/PMT, DV and medical. Candidates qualifying the CBT are called for PET/PMT. Those qualifying the PET/PMT are called for DV. Shortlisted candidates of DV appear for medical exam. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and category certificates, verification of character and antecedents of the candidates from the local Administration and successful completion of initial training.

 In cases of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e. older person shall be given higher seniority. In case the date of birth also happens to be the same they will be placed in ascending alphabetical order (a to z).

RPF Constable marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. To adjust the difficulty level, normalisation of marks is done. The marks of candidates might change normalisation. RPF Constable result is announced based on the normalisation.
