Hello,
I think you should prepare for all the exams. In government jobs exams or competitive exams, the syllabus is almost same. So, you can prepare at the same time for more than one exam.
If you want to work in Indian banks, then you can prepare for IBPS PO, SBI PO or RBI exams. You are from technical field, so you can also prepare for IBPS PO exam.

Hello,
If you want to get a government job just after 12th studies, then you can apply for SSC CHSL Exam or Railway Exams. The eligibility criteria required for these exams is 12th class and if you want to get a really good job then firstly complete your graduation and then apply for Bank Exams - IBPS PO, SBI PO, or SSC CGL, etc.
