The candidate must be above 18 years of age. Also, one must have passed their 12th standard from recognised board. Every year SSC 10+2 i.e. CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) is conducted in the month of August or September. You can apply for the same, next year. You have lots of time to prepare for the same.

The eligibility criteria for railway ALP exam is 10+2 and a course completed act apprentice or ITI from an institute recognized by SCVT/NCVT or Diploma.
