The admission at Guru Kashi University (GKU) under the various branches of engineering or B.Tech is through the entrance examination of JEE. On the basis of JEE examination the merit list is created and from those students who apply for the Guru Kashi University - GKU students get selected. But the total number of students that the university admits is around 980-1000 each year in various branches. There are 60 seats approx each in different B.Tech branches.

The cutoff for B.Tech at Guru Kashi University (GKU) is based on the scores students score in the entrance examination JEE Mains & Advanced which is being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Students are ranked based on these scores. The merit list is created based on these ranks or positions, consisting of students who have been selected for B.Tech admission.

The procedure to get admission in any course at Guru Kashi University (GTU) is through entrance examinations like CMAT, CAT etc. On the basis of marks attained in these entrance examinations a merit list is created and that would be the deciding factor of whether or not you would be getting a seat in GTU.
In order to get admission in B.Tech one should give JEE Mains and advanced examination. Scoring a decent rank will led to your name in the merit list and ultimately an admission in GTU

Guru Kashi University offers admission in various Undergraduate and Post graduate courses. CUET and class 12th marks are used to determine admission to Guru Kashi University - GKU. Candidates who wish to take admission must get atleast 50% in class 12th. The CUET scores depends on various courses. The cut-off is not so high in Guru Kashi University - GKU. Also GATE is required for ME or M.Tech admissions.

The Guru Kashi University - GKU University has tie-ups with more than 200 companies for the campus as well as off- campus placement. The top companies like Wipro, Honda, HCL, Mahindra, etc. Visits the University every year for the campus recruitment. Almost all students gets placed in the campus recruitment in Guru Kashi University - GKU. The University has many recruiters which participates in the campus placement.

Almost all students gets placed within the campus placement of Guru Kashi University - GKU. Companies like HCL, Mahindra, Axis Bank, Honda visits the University. The package offered is not so good. Average package offered is 2-3 LPA.

Guru Kashi University was established in the year 2011, whereas Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College was established in the year1993. Both the colleges offer good placement opportunities for their students but Guru Kashi University offers better packages to their students than Baba Singh College. There is not much difference between the two though. The average package offered by both the colleges ranges between INR 2 LPA- INR 3 LPA. The difference is as follows:-
