To secure admission at JB Institute of Hospitality Management candidates must have valid qualifications. For the BHM course, students must have a Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate. Candidates must also have good command over the English language both in writing and verbal. Further, the selection procedure is based on aptitude tests and personal interviews of the students. Direct admission to the diploma course is also considered for meritorious students.

The NCHMCT JEE cutoff for SIHM Rohtak 2024 for the general category starts from 556 and closed at 3640. For SC category, it starts from 2256 and closed at 10457.
