That's a great question, and it's wonderful that you're still exploring opportunities with IISER! However, for admission to the IISERs (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research), there is a specific eligibility criterion regarding the year of passing your 12th standard. The admission criteria typically state that candidates should have passed their 12th grade in either the current year or the previous year. As you completed your 12th in 2021, you would unfortunately no longer be eligible for the current or upcoming academic year's admission.

IISER Bhopal isn't the place for a typical B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical. They're more into pure sciences and research stuff. You'll find BS-MS dual degrees, a BS in Engineering Sciences, and integrated PhD programs there—not the regular engineering tracks. If you're aiming for a classic B.Tech in CS or EE, better stick to IITs, NITs, IIITs, or solid private colleges.

No, the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) do not offer standalone B.Sc. programs. Instead, they provide integrated BS-MS programs that combine undergraduate and postgraduate studies over five years. These programs emphasize research-oriented learning in disciplines like biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. However, if you are specifically looking for only B.Sc. programs, you might need to consider institutes like IITs, NISER, or central universities. IISER's integrated programs are highly competitive, requiring admission through the IAT, JEE Advanced, or KVPY channels, ensuring strong academic and res

The IISER Entrance Exam (IAT) application form is expected to be released around April 2025 on iiseradmission.in. Students can apply through three channels: IAT, JEE Advanced, or KVPY scores. For IAT, you need to have at least sixty percent marks in Class 12 (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology). The application fee is generally two thousand rupees for general candidates and one thousand rupees for SC/ST. The exam tests aptitude in Science subjects, and results determine seat allocation across IISER campuses. It is advisable to prepare early as the exam is highly competitive and concept-oriented.
