Firstly, IIT-Jodhpur is quite new, I mean just four years old or so while MNIT has an established reputation and is now in its 52nd year. Also, the infrastructure is good. No offence intended towards IIT-Jodhpur but if you take out the tag "IIT" you'll find that it is hollow. Placements are faring much better at MNIT.
Best of luck for coming college life.

This is a very new institute with only one batch, that has passed out. In the first batch of IIIT, Kota, 60% students were placed in campus placements while some are pursuing higher education and other interests. So, that's pretty good for a beginning and we're hoping these results to get even better with upcoming batches.

In my opinion, IIT-Ropar is better than IIT-Jodhpur in terms of education, atmosphere and ranking.

Hello Dheeraj,
IIT Dhanbad is not actually an IIT, it is ISM Dhanbad, the famous institution for mine engineering. IIT Jodhpur is a new IIT as compared to ISM Dhanbad, so no placement data will be available for you to judge which one is better, in this case, go for the IIT that is old and established I.e. ISM Dhanbad
Hope this helps! All the best.

I can clear your doubts regarding IITJ and for IIT Mandi, I would suggest to you get connected with some person there. And one more thing asking people the choice will show their perspective, hence please ask for specific details and collect answers and then compare for yourself!
IITJ is a great place and if you choose to come, then you will enjoy your four years here as I did. Placements here are great for CSE, wherein almost 100% of students get placed in companies of desire. Some even end up with high-end packages in multinational giants such as Google, Microsoft etc. Currently, IITJ has a temporary campus, but as per the latest info
