The eligibility is lenient at IGNOU. An aggregate of at least 50% in bachelor’s degree is required by IGNOU for admission to MCA courses but they are also open to students who did not attain the required mark if they have relevant experience or degree in the same field such as Computer Science or IT or BSc. Although you obtained an average of 48.73%, it is still possible to apply for the admission process; however, one should prepare themselves for some rejection after the selection process. BCA placements at Nazareth College of Arts and Science are generally considered average as there's a trend that shows that the college provides placements for around 60% of BCA students every year with the starting salary offered to be generally around INR 10,000 per month. However, the college has also said to have tie-ups with a number of companies for placement purpose but these are mostly average-sized firms.
