To get admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) at Institute of Management Bharti Vidyapeeth the following steps have to be taken:
- NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) conducted by NIT jamshedpur
- GGSIPU Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIP University, NewDelhi
- Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Test Agency (NTA)
90% seats are filled through centralized counseling at Bharti Vidyapeeth University based on the rank of these entrance tests. The remaining 10% seats are reserved for management category, which is direct admission based on rank through the same entrance test.

No, a student scoring less that 60% in their bachelor's degree is not eligible to apply for MCA admission at Jadavpur University if they belong to the general/unreserved category. For candidates belonging to the general category, the minimum marks required in the UG degree is 60%. However, for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST) the minimum aggregate required in graduation is 45%. The selection is based on the scores of WEBJEE JECA. In case a candidate fails to get admission at Jadavpur University, they can check out other colleges offering MCA. They can check out the colleges offering Online MCA courses.
