The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Ropar offers a wide range and variety of courses in the fields of Computer Science, Electronics, and IT. The tuition fees for various courses at NIELIT Ropar also vary but to give a general bracket we can see the fee structure as follows:

  • Certificate courses: INR 2,300 - 15,000
     
  • UG Diploma courses: INR 22,700 - 1.1 lakh

Hello Nishar Ahmed, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology is a government entity which works under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Government of India. It's in fact an autonomous scientific body. It has campuses spread across India. It conducts it's own courses in the field of computer hardware and software of various levels like certificate to PG. First, for this type of eligibility qualification related questions, you must mention your subject specifically as in the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology qualification for Diploma differs for each course. 

Your question states your percentage for class 12th but a UG Diploma cannot be done after the 12th. Generally a UG  Diploma is done after getting a UG degree which means aggregate percentage of UG will be considered.

Hello,

To be eligible for the UG Diploma program at NIELIT Ropar, candidates need to graduate with first division in the specified subject and should have at least two years of post-qualification experience. The eligibility criteria may differ based on the course; for instance, the B.Tech program requires candidates to possess a relevant B.Tech degree with a minimum percentage of aggregate of 60 percent and for B.Arch. program it is a minimum of 50% marks for B.Arch. degree.

There is a placement cell at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) which provides assistance regarding the placements of students in right industry .Companies like INTEL, WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES, Tata Elxsi, NEST, HCL, ARM, etc. visit the campus to hire the right students.

The minimum cutoff for UG Diploma at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is 50 percent marks .Reserve category students must have scored 45 percent marks .The student must have passed 10 +2  with the minimum cutoff  from a recognised board In  any stream .

The fee for BCA at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) for 3 years is INR 1.20 Lakhs .The hostel fees is INR 5000 and you will also have to pay hostel caution money deposit (one time) of INR 1500.

 It is a good institute to pursue an MCA course. The institute offers great placement opportunities to students. As per the media reports, the institute has concluded 2022 placements with 88% of MCA candidates getting placed.

Candidates with a BCA/BSc Hons/BSc with Mathematics and Statistics subjects with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to pursue this course. Candidates also have to submit the necessary documents to prove their eligibility at the time of admission and the application form filling.
