For regular category students, the BMAT exam is a must, along with GD and PI. Selection is done according to the merit list prepared from the marks they scored in the BMAT exam of 200 marks +GD+PI. Whereas, NRI/Foreign/PIO/OCI/INSTITUTIONAL QUOTA students are selected with a separate merit list prepared depending upon their merit category. The seat intake is 180 for MBA with dual specialisations. The final merit list is a combination of BMAT, GD, and PI scores achieved by the candidate.

However, GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research has released the specialisation-wise placement rate recording during the 2023 placement drive.
