Students who secures above 80% of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective board of examination in Class 12 or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in colleges/institutions recognised by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities. Students choose to pursue Diploma courses at Doon Institute of Medical Sciences are not eligible under the scheme.

To get admission to the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS) in 2024, candidates must qualify for the NEET examination. The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET examination. Banaras Hindu University, institute of medical sciences offers a smooth admission process and amazing placement opportunities for students. Hostels and mess are rated nicely by the students and involvement of students in various cultural and yearly programs and festivities that make students'lives academically and socially great. It has lush grren campus with all the facilities like library , clubs in the campus.

Banaras Hindu University, the institute of medical sciences has a completely entrance based admission process.

 Admission in MBBS and BDC are on the basis of the candidate's score of NEET-UG Exam. A merit is formed on the basis of scores of NEET-UG exam and allotment of departments are followed on the basis of the merit. For B.Sc and nursing sciences fields the institute has its own University level entrance examination.

Banaras Hindu University of medical sciences offers various courses and doctorates in medical field but some courses like MBBS, BDC, M.Sc nursing science, BAMC, and B.Pharma are top ranked and most opted courses. These courses gave an outcome of extravagant placement opportunities to students.
