The eligibility criteria of 5 years Integrated programme in Management (IPM) is given below. Eligibility: Class 12th with a minimum 60% of aggregate marks (55% for reserved categories). So as per the eligibility criteria, Mathematics is not necessary at class 12th level. However, Mathematics of class 10th level is needed for solving the quantitative aptitude questions of the entrance exam. Further Mathematics is also not necessary in class 12th for CLAT UG. While the UPSC is a graduation level exam and Mathematics is also not necessary here for eligibility.

The eligibility criteria of Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is given below:
Eligibility criteria : The candidate should have passed 12th with minimum 60% of marks in 10th and 12th in year 2018,19 or appearing in 2020. (55% for SC/ST and PWD candidates).
Age : Born on or after 01 August 2000. (5 years relaxation to SC/ST/PWD)
Admission criteria : IPMAT Entrance test +WAT+PI.
So 12th science students are eligible for IPM course.

The pattern of Aptitude Test (AT) is as follows:
1. There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely
(A) Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ)
(B) Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA)
(C) Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ)
2. Each question will carry 4 marks.
3. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
4. The AT will be structured as under :
(D) QA (MCQ) : 40(Questions) in 40 Minutes
(E) QA (SA) : 20(Questions) in 40 Minutes
(F) VA (MCQ) : 40(Questions) in 40 Minutes
