To become an investment banker, only CFA/CFP recognition will help you. SFM will not help you as it is an important subject of financial engineering and will only help you to manage the projects of companies. So, you should either do CFA or CFP.

If you are willing to go for investment banking you can either do an MBA in finance or prepare for CFA after your graduation. CFA will be a better option amongst the two. CFA is a 3 level course just like CA.

If you are a new grad looking for a job in investment banking you should target the back office functions in a bank which will be more feasible. It will require an MBA degree from the premier institutes.
Another way to get the same would be professional courses like CA and CFA.
