Students must have received at least 45% marks in PCM in their class 12th-grade examination from an approved board in order to meet the basic eligibility requirements for admission to the Institute of Engineering & Science, IPS Academy Indore.
Students are admitted to IPS Academy based on the cutoff score that IPS Academy has announced. Every year, the college accepts exam results from the various UG and PG programs at the state and national levels.

Candidates must receive 45% of the possible points in their class 12th test from an accredited board in order to be considered for admission to the Institute of Engineering and Science, IPS Academy Indore. The Institute of Engineering and Science, IPS Academy, Indore's admissions procedure is as follows:
1.The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) score is used to determine admission to undergraduate programs.
2. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) performance is used to determine admission to postgraduate programs.
3. Candidates must take part in the counseling procedure after passing the relevant entrance exams.

Prior to 2013, performance on the MP-PET was the primary criterion for undergraduate admission to the Institute. The Joint Entrance Examination results are currently used by the Institute to determine admission. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the basis for admission at the postgraduate level.
