No, you cannot carry a physical scientific calculator to the IIT JAM exam center. The exam provides a virtual scientific calculator on the computer screen for your use during the test. Bringing personal calculators, smartphones, or any other electronic devices is strictly not allowed at the exam center. This policy ensures a fair and level playing field for all candidates

There's no strict dress code for IIT JAM 2025 entrance exam. Casual attire is usually acceptable. However, some exams, especially those at a professional level, might benefit from more formal wear, such as a shirt and trousers. Certain institutions may have specific guidelines, such as requiring shirts or t-shirts, jeans or trousers, and advising against high heels for female candidates.

In case a candidate is not able to download his/ her admit card then the Chairman JAM of the IIT/ IISc under which the first choice of test city falls may be contacted through phone/ fax/ email. However, while contacting, the candidate should provide his/ her “online enrolment ID, name, email ID, mobile number, mailing address, and city code of the desired test centre (first choice) to get information about the registration number and the name of the test centre allotted, ” informs the official website.

IIT JAM admit card will be available for the candidates to download for the academic session 2025-2026 in early January 2025. JAM hall ticket 2025 mentions the examination centre, shift timings, and reporting timings for the candidates appearing in the IIT JAM 2025 examination.
The last date to download the IIT JAM admit card 2025 will be the exam day of the examination, i.e., February 2, 2025. Admit cards will not be sent by post or email.
