There are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year 2025-26. JAM 2025 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test.
JAM scores will be used for admission to over 2000 seats for postgraduate programmes such as M.Sc. and M.A. at IISc and various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through Centralized Counselling for M.Sc / M.Sc. (Tech.) Admission (CCMN).

Yes, you can be eligible for the IIT JAM exam with a B.Sc degree in geology and chemistry. The eligibility criteria for the IIT JAM exam in geology are as follows:

A bachelor's degree in Science with geology as a major subject for at least 3 years/6 semesters.

Any two subsidiary subjects from mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

The payment of the processing fee of the IIT JAM 2025 answer key challenge will have to be made through,  Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm/UPI. No challenge will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee. The Answer Key challenges will not be accepted through any other medium ie: fax, email or hard copy. The IIT JAM 2025 answer key will help candidates cross-check their answers marked on the answer sheet of the entrance exams and calculate their estimated scores.

The answer key challenge fee of INR 500 will only be refunded if the claim is found to be valid.

The IIT JAM scorecard consists of the following information:

  • Candidate Name
  • Candidate Photograph
  • IIT JAM 2024 Roll Number
  • Section wise scores
  • Overall scores
  • All India Rank
  • Category wise Rank
  • Category wise cut off

Candidates must preserve the scorecard till the end of the medical admission process.
