The eligibility criteria for the Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme at JIS University, Kolkata:
- Candidates must have a minimum Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline from any University affiliated to AICTE/UGC/AIU.
- Candidates should secure a minimum of 50% marks in graduation as well as in the 10+2 level.
- Candidates with a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT or any equivalent examination can directly apply for GD.

JIS University offers a three-year UG-level course of BMLT in the field of Pharmacy. For admission to BMLT at JIS University, students are required to pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Mathematics as the main subjects. For reserved category candidates, there is a relaxation of 5%, they need to get a minimum of 45% aggregate in the same subjects. It's mandatory for candidates to fulfil this eligibility before applying for the course.

For admission to JIS University MSc course, there is minimum eligibility prescribed by the university for the selection of the right candidate. The minimum eligibility for admission to MSc is to graduate with a minimum of 50% score in the relevant discipline along with 45% aggregate in BSc. Those candidates who belong to the state of West Bengal are only required to graduate with BSc from any university in West Bengal. There is no minimum qualifying percentage required for the latter candidates.

For admission to a four-year BPharm course at JIS University, the university has prescribed minimum eligibility criteria, which need to be fulfilled by every aspirant before applying for this course. Those who are willing to take admission to this course must pass Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory and Mathematics/Biology as additional subjects from a recognised Central/ State Board or its equivalent. Candidates must get minimum of 60% aggregate or above in Class 12 to be eligible for this course. This is a mandatory step to qualify before applying for BPharm at JIS University.
