Admission to KIET, Ghaziabad's BTech programme is determined by entrance. Students who pass the JEE Main entrance exam will be admitted to 85% of the available seats. UPTAC is used for counselling. Candidates might choose to be admitted through management quota seats (direct admission) for its BTech programme for the remaining 15% of seats. Following a written exam and in-person interview, the merit scores of Class 12 PCM students are used to fill these management quota seats at the institute level.
