The benefit of clearing the KTET exam is that it makes candidates eligible to apply for teacher recruitment in the Kerala schools. Candidates can apply for Lower Primary/ Upper Primary/ High School teachers posts after clearing the exam.

The pass mark for KTET 2025 exam differ for reserved and unreserved category candidates. Have a look at the KTET passing marks below:
- For General and OBC: 60 per cent marks (90 marks out of 150)
- For SC/ ST: 55 per cent marks (82 marks out of 150)

Yes, based on your qualifications (B.Sc Electronics and M.Sc Electronics from Kerala, and B.Ed from SVU Tirupati), you are eligible to apply for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET). Best of luck for your Exam.

If you want to make career in teaching in private colleges or school then this is not compulsory to do KTET . But if you want to make your career on government college for teaching . Yes, you should have to compulsory to do KTET before applying for government teaching in Kerala. I hope this helps you.

The application fee for the Kerala TET is ?500 for all candidates except those belonging to SC, ST, and differently-abled categories, for whom the fee is reduced to ?250. For more information about KTET November 2024, including eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and passing requirements, candidates can refer to the official notification. Applicants should have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with a minimum of 45 percent marks and possess a two-year Trained Teachers' Certificate (TTC) from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must have obtained a BA/BSc/BCom degree from a recognised university.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB) conducted the KTET June 2025 exam on September 18 and 19, 2025. The KTET exam was conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Registered candidates need to appear for the KTET 2025 exam and clear it by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates who manage to obtain the qualifying or passing marks are awarded the KTET certificate which makes them eligible to apply for teacher recruitment in Kerala.

The KTET application form 2025 was released on July 3, 2025. The last date for the KTET application form was July 15, 2025. Candidates need to fill out the online application form and submit it timely to appear for the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam if they fail to submit their applications on time. Candidates need to pay the KTET application fee along with their online form.
