The eligibility criteria for the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University, apart from national-level entrance exams, include the following:
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the best four subjects at the 10+2 level from a board recognized by the University of Calcutta. For SC/ST/persons with disabilities (disability 40% or more), a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects is required, excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE.
