The Symbiosis Law Admission Test SLAT is conducted for admission to four law schools at Symbiosis University. This exam is known to be a comparatively easier version of CLAT. Therefore, a focused study of at least 3 months is sufficient to clear this entrance exam. You can follow these preparation tips to clear SLAT in your first attempt:
1. Prepare important topics, like legal aptitude, in depth.
2. Try to solve as many practice questions for such topics as legal scenarios, logical reasoning questions, and grammar.
3. Focus on reading comprehension to improve reading speed to have an edge in this section, which is easily scoreable.
4. For general awareness-level questions, Current Affairs and basic GK preparation will suffice.
5. Focus on weak areas, but prepare for all topics holistically.
6. Mock exams should be practiced and revised in order to develop the habit of solving in a real-life exam scenario.
7. Do focus on articles in the news that will help you not just in the test but also in the further admission process, like the Personal Interview.

LL.B. Course subjects can be divided into core and elective subjects. Students can choose from the elective LL.B. Subject list based on their interests, career scopes, or future education goals. Core subjects are considered essential for the learning of the students and, therefore, tend to be the same in all colleges irrespective of the specialisation. LL.B. Core Subjects: Labour Laws, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Taxation Law, Law of Evidence, Family Law and Law of Contract. LL.B. Elective Subjects: Women and Law, Comparative Laws, Conflict of Laws, Trust and Equity, Election Law and Media and Healthcare Law. LL.B. Optional Subjects: The LL.B. Programme is three years long, but most universities now break it into six semesters. The programme's curriculum is essentially the same, but as the University of Delhi, it can offer a variety of electives. In this case, students will have the option of selecting from a list of optional courses. Contract, Trust, Women & Law, Criminology and International Economics Law.

The Bar Council of India is responsible for creating standard rules for legal institutions, lawyers, and students pursuing law. These rules and professional standards that advocates need to maintain have been placed there under the Advocates ACT of 1961. Some of these standards for new lawyers who will practice as advocates are:
1. When acting as an advocate in court, a lawyer needs to ACT in a dignified manner in respect of the court.
2. A lawyer needs to maintain decorum and appear in a professional dress code.
3. A lawyer should not be part of any kind of malpractice, like faking evidence.
4. Maintain the best interests of the person you're representing. There are no such separate rules for law students, but some general guidelines and rules related to legal education:
1. Students and lawyers need to uphold the dignity of the Constitution of India.
2. There is no provision for lateral entry in a law degree on account of graduation in any subject.

Application process:
1- You can apply online through the official website of the college (dauniv (dot)AC (dot)in (dot).
2- Register yourself. Once the registration is completed then wait for the merit list for the selected candidates which is released by the University.
3- counseling process will start on October 17, 2022, for the Undergraduate programme.
4- The counseling process will be held in offline mode, wherein you will have to get their documents to verify.
5- After verification, complete the admission procedure to lock the allotted seat.
6- Till last year, Devi Ahilya Vishvavidyalaya conducted its own entrance examination which is DAVV CET.
7- For this year, the Devi Ahilya Vishvavidyalaya university is accepting the CUET UG scores for admission to UG and integrated PG courses. I hope this will help you.
