Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute of Hindi Studies and Linguistics has been one of the biggest educational institutions in Agra since 1953 and is affiliated with Dr B.R. Ambedkar University. There is a course for students, offering them Post Graduate Diplomas in Linguistics, Mass Communication, and Journalism. It is famous for training a student's communication powers and conducts seminars for discussions concerning language-based topics.

The requirement of admission to the PG Diploma at Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute the candidate should have passed graduation (Hindi / related subjects) with at least 50%Marks. No, MA Linguistics and an MA English Literature are not the same. MA English Literature is about Literature written by noteworthy writers. Linguistics is considered to be the Science of language. In Linguistics, you study the Science of language, words, phrases & sentences. In terms of employment prospects, an MA in English Literature has a wider scope of opportunities.
