The admission process for LLB at Maharani Laxmi Bai Arts and Commerce College, Gwalior usuallyis based on an entrance exam followed by a counseling process (this was the process used in the past 2 years, changes must be seen if any on the official website too). For eligibility the candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree with the minimum fo 60% .

In Meerut College there are 330 seats for LL.B. for which the only criteria set is 10+2 completed from a recognized board. The cutoff for boards is 75% minimum and the admission is simply on the merit basis of class 12th marks. You can easily apply through their website and as such there is no issue of high seat competition for the course. The college has made the process student friendly.

The majority of lawyers often get a Bachelor of Laws degree which takes three years after high school to become advocates. Nevertheless, one has the option of pursuing a postgraduate LLB degree for two years if he/she already possesses an undergraduate degree in any other field. Candidates need to pass BA/ BSc/ BCom./ Shastri with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University LLB (Hons). As per directive of the Bar Council of India, aspirants who have obtained Class 12 or graduation/ Post-graduation via open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses.
