Any candidate who has completed his/ her law graduation (3-year or 5-year integrated LLB programme) from the academic year 2009-10 onwards, need to qualify the AIBE certification exam in order to practice in a court of law in India. Now one requirement for appearing in the AIBE exam is that the candidate must be enrolled (or registered) as an advocate with a State Bar Council.
