Direct admission at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) - Lucknow Campus depends on the programme you are applying for:
Undergraduate and Master's Programs: Most courses, including M.A., offer merit-based admission. This means if you meet the eligibility criteria (minimum marks and Urdu proficiency), you can get direct admission without an entrance exam.
Entrance-Based Programs: Some specialised courses across MANUU require candidates to clear an entrance exam, but these are rare at the Lucknow Campus.

They would have the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the number of seats available for the MA program.
