LPU offers several programs through distance learning. LPU is providing open access to its DE study material to all by making it available free of cost on the World Wide Web. The study material, primarily meant for its Distance Education students, may also be accessed and referred to by regular LPU students and students of other universities as well. Numerous Workshops and Seminars are organised by LPU for Distance Education students at University Campus. Students and aspirants from various places attend the workshops/seminars and get benefitted academically and professionally. LPU organises an induction session to make newly enrolled Distance Education students familiar with various systems, processes, features, career support services, and other provisions related to their academic programs during their admissions process at University Campus. Financial constraints should not come in the way of pursuing your educational and professional aspirations. This philosophy is the guiding principle behind LPU Distance Education offering its programs at economical fee structure, making quality university education quite affordable for all
LPU DE provides opportunities to its students to visit the campus and have firsthand experience of campus life. Campus visits and the opportunity to interact directly with university officials are always a hit among LPU Distance Education students. LPU provides equal opportunities to Distance Education students through participation in university convocation, placement drives, cultural and sports events, etc.

Integrated Bachelor of Education course can be said to be a Dual Degree program. At the end of the program, a student will obtain two Degrees. The two Integrated B.Ed. programs introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development are- B.Sc + B.Ed and BA + B.Ed.
It is evident from the above mentioned paragraph that the program is Dual Degree in nature. The Government has introduced this course to address the problem of shortage of qualified teachers that India has been facing for a while now. With this course, the Government want to attract more and more students towards the profession of teaching. Through this course, not only does the Government wants to increase the number of teachers in India, but also to improve the quality of teacher training/education in this country
Career prospects and job opportunities: After completing B.Sc. B.Ed. or B.A. B.Ed. Integrated course, graduates are eligible to take up teaching job at secondary or higher secondary levels. To get Central Government teachers post, one must appear for (and score well in) CTET test. For getting job in State Government run school, one must appear for (and score well in) State-wise TETs held by the respective PSC of the State.
