First of all, think what is the end goal and how MS will help you. Applying for MS as an international student is really a taxing task. It require a lot investment and time. So one must be very sure why he/she want to pursue Masters in foreign universities. Now talking about application process. It is a five step process as elaborated below. You must have a Bachelors degree which is relevant with the Masters programme. If you are in your final year you can still apply for MS English Proficiency exam (TOEFL/IELTS): Applicant must be able to demonstrate his ability to read, write, speak and listen English language and ability is measured through TOEFL or IELTS examination. One must secure minimum scores required by the university. Application process: Post English proficiency examination one has to fill the application form of the universities and send them the required documents for evaluation. Most commonly the documents required by university are Bachelor degree certificate, TOEFL/IELTS result card, Letter of Recommendation, Statement of Purpose, Curriculum Vitae/Resume, Research paper (if any), Official Transcript. Adding to this, there are 3 intakes in Canada I. e. September, May and January for admission. On average it takes 56 months to apply for the Masters programme. It may vary from person to person. Note: September intake is the largest one and many universities do not open admission for May and January intake. 4. Admission decision: After completing the application you may have to wait for half month to 4 months to get the admission result.
5. Visa application: Once you are done with the application process, the last step is to apply for Visa. You can apply for Canada student visa through online or offline medium depending upon your convenience.
